So, I installed the CF card in my Amiga 500+. I managed to install Workbench 2.04 and downloaded some games from whdownload.com. But all I got for all games was Guru Meditation.
For all of you that probably have had the same problem, the answer seems to be Workbench 2.1. WB 2.1 is runnable on Kickstart 2.04 or higher. I like to pay for my software, so I downloaded it from Amiga Forever -- yes, AmigaOS is still copyrighted. Today it is owned by the Italian company Cloanto Inc.
Anyway, after installing WB 2.1, all the games seem to work. I still need to create a KS 1.3 image, but that should fix all problems (yeah, right...).
Note: I promised to write how to install WB 2 on a CF card. I have obviously not done that yet, but I plan to. Soon. Any day now...
